The Krishna Key

"The Krishna Key" by Ashwin Sanghi...After many days quite interesting book. really worth reading.Gives u lot of freedom to think.Actually It's a fiction work, but the Ideas are not fiction. According to my definition an Author can create a story but the theme and idea for that comes from the real world only. So anything fiction or non-fiction depends on u r receiving of thoughts.

Interpretation of Mahabharata from scientific angle, very new experience to me. Till now I know Mahabharata as epic to Hindus. Even I consider it as Political work also. But Comparing Brahmastra with Nuclear weapon such a new angle. Adding Scientific view to Mythology I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Touched many areas :  History, Culture, Geography . Maths , Vedas, Mythology, Political, Nuclear Science, Geography, Geology, Etc.. Gives a lot of scope for interpretation. touches the basics of every subject.

Now I am going to finish Other Ashwin Sanghi works, The Rozabal Line, Chanakya's Chant. Can't wait anymore ....

Project: Malayalam Movie

After so many good reviews about Bangalore Days, I settled down to watch it expecting a good entertainer.

My search started for a HD print with subtitles, after some failed attempts luckily found a link meeting my requirement(Free print ...he he :P). Watching it with high expectations.Beginning is so nice narration going on introducing characters, so far nice !!!!!

Now very interesting thing happened with entrance of my mom, she watched it for a minute, understood it's not a Telugu movie but visually nice, asked me to translate. I narrated story to her, started watching together.so far nice !!!!!

After every few minutes she is asking what he said? what she said? who is he? how they relate? what happened? why they are going? where they were going? what they doing? who is the hero? who is heroine?....... OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!..... never ending question paper.... still I am answering her, telling the story. Now I am eligible to call myself as good translator :)

With my very very limited Malayalam knowledge trying to get the feel of the movie with available sources, subtitles, Expressions of actors. The task is very difficult first I have to listen dialogue and read subtitles at the same time( English+Malayalam) then understand it, then translate it into Telugu then narrate it to her, so many tasks at a time "multitasking". it's not a movie for me definitely a mission.

Successfully watched it till the "the end". Mission accomplished. Words of my Mom," why people don't make such kind of movies in Telugu",. here credit comes to me also because I narrated her story well, made her understood the emotions effectively. ( self Dabba, but some times justified :) )

But lessons learned 1) Never watch an other language movie with you mom.... better sacrifice your movie. 2)Movie can become a Mission  3)Humans emotions have universal applicability.. if not universal at least  regional Finally..... I have patience,... Good narrating skills.

Even you have patience to read it :).
Have a Nice time.
